Travel Guide: 3-days in Venice, Italy

The Floating City lies among over 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea, linked by a maze of canals and bridges.

It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen, and probably ever will see. It’s a city that I dreamed of visiting for years and when I finally arrived, it was everything I wanted and more. I fell hard for Venice and have been desperate to return since the moment I left.

Venice Marco Polo Airport is only a 2-hour flight from London Gatwick Airport and with the city being so easily walkable, it’s the perfect city getaway for a long weekend.

For such a small city, there’s a lot to do, and once tourism resumes full-force the sights and sounds in Venice will be back in high demand and you’ll need to make a plan and even pre-book for some of the big hitters.

We’ve put together a travel guide for a trip to Venice and a potential 3-day itinerary to help you plan the perfect trip.
