20 2024 romances to add to your summer reading list

It’s finally getting warm in the south of England and I am living for that perfect English Spring feeling of sun on my skin, blossoms on the trees and a lovely breeze whipping through - it’s truly one of the best times to be here.

What goes perfectly with the newfound sunshine, books and planning for the long, hot days of summer, of course.

I’m slowly coming out of my fantasy and sci-fi binge and I’m starting to really crave romance again. I want kick-your-heels, read into the early hours, swoony romance books. So I started doing some research.

This selection is mostly contemporary romance because that’s what I’m in the mood for, but there’s alos a sprinkling of paranormal romances too. Some are on Kindle Unlimited, some self-published, some not; authors I love, authors I’ve not got on with previously, and authors that are completely new to me - it’s all about variety!
